Amy Leland



Amy Leland is in her fifteenth year as a stage director. Directing credits include The Lover, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Masterpieces, Cloud Nine, West Side Story, The Normal Heart, and As Is, as well as numerous original plays, including two others by Steve Nicholas. Amy is in the process of directing and producing her first feature film, an original screenplay called Children Lost, written by fellow Actors Studio Drama School graduate Aurin Squire. In 2007 she began directing A Fine Day In Sketchville, a web comedy series being shot in Austin, TX. Amy completed an MFA degree in directing at the Actors Studio Drama School in 2005. Amy is the founder of Summer Woman Productions, a production company dedicated to bringing the works of new writers to life through film, theater production and music video. She is an associate member of SSDC, and a member of the Actors Studio Playwrights and Directors Workshop.
